Product Overview
This electromagnetic brake assembly is used to hold, slow or stop motion using electromagnetic force to apply mechanical resistance (friction). This assembly includes an Axial Drive Brake and a Solid State Relay mounted over a glavanized steel bracket. The bracket comes with pre-drilled holes for mounting the brake and relay over it and 2x holes for mounting the complete assembly onto the system. The Axial Brake assembly is highly reliable and comes with an aluminum hex type coupling with a keyed 15.9 mm bore. The solid state relay is covered with an insulating lexan bracket to protect it from environmental factors. The assembly is used with the axial drive system of GE's VCT, Lightspeed RT Xtra, Lightspeed RT, Lightspeed Pro, and Discovery 750 HD systems.
