Product Overview
This small size patient sensor is designed to stop when a patient comes in contact with this sensor mounted on the gantry cover. This sensor stops the gantry's tilt motion when a force of 40 lbs or 10 PSI is applied on it. The cover switch is constructed with a 20k ohms resistor that is attached to one layer of the switch, which can be read when the switch is not activated. When the switch gets activated, it contacts the lower layer and a resistance value of no greater than 100 ohms is read. The cover is made up of thermoformed polycarbonate and has an even and scratch free surface. It comes with an easy to install 2 Position female connector for quick installation. This switch cover is used with Lightspeed RT, Lightspeed Pro 16, Lightspeed 16, Lightspeed Ultra, Hispeed Qxi, Lightspeed Plus, and Lightspeed Qxi CT systems.
