Product Overview
GE's Smart Handle is one of the Table Side User Interface (TSUI) device which is used to activate and control all axis of Patient Table and System's Gantry and can be mounted on the table left/right or foot side rails. This 4 meter long Connector Cable Harness is used to interface the Smart Handle to the system by using the provided 62 position, 3 row SUB-D connector at the one side and 3x 15 Position, single row with 4x ground ring terminals at the smart handle side. This cable carries the signals for different functions to control the Table panning, up-down, tilt, gantry motion control, detector elevator up-down control, L-Arm control, Frontal/Lateral Plan select controls etc. The cable harness comes with overmolding with cable gland at the smart Handle side which protects the cable and it's conductors from physical damages that may occur during bending and accidental pulls. The fixated shieldings at the connector ends helps in reducing signal noise, hence provides reliable operation .The harness is compatible with the Smart Handles used with GE's Interventional Image Guided Systems (IGS) such as Discovery IGS 520, 530, 540 and IGS 620 with Omega Tables. The item will be shipped in suitable packaging to provide adequate protection during transit.
