Product Overview

The Radio Frequency Hub Control 1.5T Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). The RFCB FPGA will have both synchronous and asynchronous modules. Functions that need to be performed at all times, even when the 40 MHz clock is in standby mode, performed in asynchronously. The asynchronously monitor cable (including coils) and board connections to the RFCB and wakes up the standby oscillator should these connections change during the scan. The CPLD is used on the RFCB circuit board contained in the RF-HUB for the MR DVMR I program. The primary function of the CPLD is to configure the FPGA on board the RF Control Board (RFCB). Upon reset the CPLD will parallel read and serial program the Cyclone II FPGA, using configuration data stored in the on-board FLASH memory. It generates the FLASH address and increments after data has been sent serially to the FPGA. The CPLD design generates proper control signals for the FPGA and the FLASH memory. The product is securely packaged inside a high quality packing box to avoid physical damage during transit. It is used in a wide range of medical equipment such as 3T Signa architect UPG, 1-5T Signa artist 96 CH and other medical diagnostic imaging equipment.
